Udio, Mureka, Stable Audio, and other tools compete from different angles. The moat may not be just model quality. Distribution, community, licensing, workflow integration, and brand trust may matter just as much.

Copyright risk is also central. If creators and businesses worry about legal uncertainty, they may avoid using AI music commercially even if the output is impressive.

Why It Matters

Suno matters because it made AI music visible to mainstream users. Whether it becomes the dominant AI music platform depends on whether the company can turn a magical demo into a repeated creative habit.
